Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 50F, cold/pseudo-rainy
Comments:
Because of a ticketing fiasco caused by Rico pussing out of coming to town, Behrs and I couldn't go anywhere adventurous this weekend, so we did a bike/run adventure in town.
Hit the road at 0730. Weather was cold and a bit rainy. Went west then south on Bailey Hill Rd to Lorane HWY, then back on Fox Hollow. A couple big climbs early, then flat, then HUGE CLIMBS coming back into town around Spencer Butte. Stopped just past Spencer Butte to run a few miles of the Ridgeline Trail. Decent trail but way too wet: tons of mud made it TECH to run on. Thankfully Behrs only needed 3 so that's all we did.
Bombed down Willamette St back into town. I stopped at Amazon Park to do the rest of my run. Ran 6 TOUGH miles, because I forgot to bring a Clif Bar. By then I was over 2hr into exercising with no refuel, so that next 40min was a little rough. Otherwise legs felt fine. Just tired and "bonky".
Napped the afternoon away, which was wonderful.
At night I went to a "Pre-Pre" bash with Danielle, a chick who just graduated from PT at UWL. She's working out here, so I rolled to this bash with her. Met some pretty cool people, including one particularly attractive gal who I may or may not pursue. We'll see... ;)
Was in bed by midnight. Good day.
