When coach asked why I'm trying so hard and I responded "Gotta go fast" I was saying it as a joke and I didn't get a chance to say the real reason which is because I have a drive to get better and be good at what I do. As for this workout I took the first few laps fast, and the last few were too slow. It seems like the 6:40 pace is hard for me to get over so I'm just going to continue to work on that. Overall I was about 30 seconds slow.
