Christmas Tree Farm

July 18, 2012 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ran with Kevin today. It was supposed to rain, and the temp dropped. It was pretty humid all day though. I decided to take the calf sleeve off today, try and ween off and strengthen it. Because of that, wanted to stick to trails. We went up north to Pulpit Hill. Took the trail head on the other side of the road to the rest of the RFT. This trail is so confusing! Kevin said he found the part up by the reservoir... We kept on it, did a cool loop around a bunch of pine trees, which looked like a Christmas Tree Farm to me. We basically went out 25 then turned around. CAme back on the Mill Creek Trails. Felt good today we kept the pace fine, worked into it. Took caution on the trails to watch the ankle, but we were crusing as we came in. Shin felt fine.

Essentials: Stretch, roll, quick ankles, L7

Stretched in front for a little then came in. I did some stuff with the band, nothing too serious. Today was a light essentials day I guess. Legs feel good, gonna hit the gym tomorrow. Might take some more time out to lift, but that is a game time decision. On another note, it is getting pretty nasty running in saturated shorts and socks each day. I miss the laundry loop, and free laundry in general...
