Comments:
Ran to Hoffman to do some hills. Felt pretty good/easy on the warm-up, but not great. The idea was to use the "measures" from OLD SCHOOL (RFHS '03) to do some hard stuff.
Started out with a "controlled" 800m on the flat, followed by 3x400 hills/ROR, and finishing with a long ROR:
800 flat: 2:40
400 ROR x3: 1:42, 1:40, 1:40
800 ROR: 3:04
Very tough. It wasn't exhausting; just OUT OF SHAPE. I can't believe that 8 ROR was that slow, but I'm pretty sure that I made the hill too long...but still...
Did one easy lap for cooldown, then did the standard route home. Felt pretty good... :)
Did tons of cooking this PM for the upcoming K-Fest.
