Comments:
Digested a bit before heading out after 7. My IT band was really tight this afternoon. I rolled beforehand, then went out to run. It loosened up a little, its just really tight. Shins felt fine and once I got rolling, legs felt pretty good. Standard loop, had to do a little detour through Amherst College because there were a bunch of camps. I ran past the quad, and it was full of little kids playing tag and capture the flag. I really wanted to jump in mid run and play with them... Also, I got attacked by the fly cloud in the woods again. Freaked me out.

Essentials: Stretch, shins&calves, L7, roll, ice

Down at the school. It was really dark when I got down there. The bugs were starting to bite. Tried to stretch my IT out really well. Probs an adjustment to the double, and my back being sore this morning. Just another muscle moving into its place. As I was stretching near the school, I heard a rustle, and turned to see a skunk plotting right at me. It had no idea I was there, but I knew it was coming for me. I hopped up and climbed up ontop of the playground. I had to finish my stretching there. The skunk circled me and trapped me up there for like 5 minutes. I saw an opportunity as it went into some bushes and escaped unharmed... Next time we meet, I will be ready to fight (please dont manchester me anyone who is reading this. I really dont want to fight the skunk). Off day tomorrow try to get into the pool in the afternoon and do a circuit.
