Comments:
Ran with Kevin this afternoon. I was feeling better today, so we went out up to Puffers for a nice night run. Started out at a decent pace, chatting. We decided to just go out 30min on the RFT. I was excited because he was gonna show me the rest of the trail! Turns out what I thought was a someones driveway is actually the trail... Felt pretty good going out and kept the pace up nice. Slower on the trails but we were cruzing on the roads. We made it all the way out to the other end, at the reservoir. Turned around and took the roads back. Here and there, feet and legs felt a little tweaked, but overall, felt great, nice and quick. Picked it up for the last bit. Very nice run today.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, pushups, ice
Stretched in front of the dorm. Kevin went in early to finish his powerpoint. We are all presenting tomorrow, wrapping up the summer... wow. Good stretch and gonna ice for precaution. Again, aim for 50 this week again, but with the training pace, if feeling like I am getting ready for workouts. Adding in lifting, school and other responsibilities is gonna be another beast, but I am excited for it.
