Osborn Park-
I made the game time decision to run today after I taped a gauze pad on my toe. I took it really slow and didn't time it because I wanted to make sure I was nice to my toe. I met my high school coach about halfway through and ran really nice and easy with him for three or so miles. It was good to catch up with him and hear how his son and a bunch of other people I went to high school with are doing these days.
Afterward, my toenail felt a little better than a couple days ago, but I now have a blood blister right under the base of it and its root seems to be less than firmly attached. I'm not sure exactly how this will all play out moving forward or what I should do about it but there's no point in worrying or freaking out. Neither will make it heal faster.
