5x100 @ race pace (1:35). 1:25, 1:34, 1:35, 1:34, 1:35. The goal here was to maintain a constant pace for all 100s. First 100 I shot out too fast. What seems relaxing at the start is way too fast, because if I were to keep up that pace, I would certainly tire out by 500 or so yards. But swimming at 1:35 felt so slow. It took a couple of pool lengths to get the feel of it without trying to push myself harder.
