I was a little sore from yesterday so I started off kind of slow. I tried to string together a few parks and some neighborhoods to make it an interesting run. I managed to get myself completely covered in burrs in Walnut Grove Park and came to the realization that its trails are basically unrunnable, at least this time of year. I think I spent a good 15 minutes de-burring myself.
The Owen Conservation Park was really cool to run through and about the right distance away to make a somewhat regular run for me. It also had some killer hills, as did Old Sauk Road on the way back. I realized I messed up the distance on the out-and-back so I would be short of ten, but really, really had to go to the bathroom, so I planned to stop after nine and go back out. But by the time I was feeling ready to go out I decided it wasn't worth it and I should just add on the mile another day.
