Just to Forest Hills

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Got to sleep in a little bit today. That meant that we ran later and it was pretty hot out. I didnt like the heat all that much. I was super sore from this week and started out so slow. We all went up Cedar and Euclid Hts to Superior to Forest Hills. Right at the entrance to the park, I turned around with a smaller group and we went back Mayfield. To add on we did a loop around northside. Felt sore going out, then on the way back, my shin started to hurt and I got a stitch. Felt like crap. Afterward my shin hurts a lot, the shin splints are back. Its that kicked in the shin feeling right on the front. Im gonna ice again. Game time decision about doing intersquad tomorrow, because I know that if it is too sore its not smart to run. I sacrificed to miss intersquad last year (even though I really wanted to race it) to be ready at the end of the season. I raced at Regionals, which was my goal, so the sacrifice can pay off.

Essentials: Stretch, ankle walks, buddies, L7, ice

Stretching went well, other parts of my legs arnt sore, just my shin is killin me. Still im in the zone with the positive mindset, getting pumped for school and all, and I think I can keep it going. I want to keep it going.
