Michigan Bluff to Devil's Thumb

Weather: warm to warmer

Comments:
Luxurious solo run from MB to the Thumb and back. Pre-run: fun drive on FH Divide...blunted by my speeding ticket from CHP. Left around 1045 from MB. A little stiff but warmed up on the descent. Foci on the uphill:

1.) L flex + R ext DRIVE
2.) "opening" R lumbar/pelvis

Very relaxed, moderate effort up, all the way to the Thumb. Made it in about 85 min. Sat and took in the Thumb and the canyon, then headed back. Ran into some guys I've met before at Carol's: Bill and two other guys (60s?); chatted for a bit then descended. Relaxed but legit effort up from El D to MB in <32. Stopped at Carol's to chat with her and refreshed with a Sierra Nevada Pale!

EXCELLENT run. Most relaxing, feel-good run since WS. Needed it!
