SEHS Track session

August 30, 2012 (Night)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ran from work to SEHS for a track session. Just LB and Cliff (and Jeremy, intermittently). The plan was cutdown miles with 400m rest, starting at 5:40. Sounded a bit ambitious for LB and Clif, but I went with it, with the goal of super-efficency.

The foci:

1.) R ext + L flex drive
2.) trunk way forward and feet beneath

First mile I tucked in behind LB and CLif. EFFORTLESS in 5:41. Clif led the 2nd mile in 5:40 but the guys weren't very comfortable. I led the third, intent on keeping the guys together, yet running a bit faster. Clif fell off, but LB held in for a 5:37.

On the 4th, I ran solo, but got help from Clif and LB (Clif 1-3, LB 2-4). I wanted <5:20 and wound up with 5:06 (2:36 + 2:30). Felt AWESOME - very smooth, not an effort!

Cooled down a K on the trail, then back to the car.
