For the first time in a long time,

Weather: Overcast but warm

Comments:
we did meadow hill circuits, similar to freshman year. Long hill, short hill, stride to the backstop. Felt okay although a little out of breath. Realized as we started the cooldown my legs were totally done in but that was okay. The 1000m estimate was pretty generous since we were hitting 3:30's with slow recovery phases. I have never run an 8k averaging 5:50 pace or better and I did "10k" worth of hill today. Gabe's watch apparently had the loops as about half a mile each, so that's the estimate I'll go with.

I felt okay on this. Not great but decent. I definitely felt some power when I attacked the steeper hill which was good. The long hill took a lot out of me each time I went up it though. I guess if I wind up with one of those in a race I should pace it pretty slow and attack on short, steep stuff since that seems to be my strength.
