Comments:
Good practice today. I got to chill at veale for a little bit before hand which was nice. Got me in the mood for practice. Still all left at 5, a little later since went over runner OTW and big balls. Good stuff past few weeks. We were doing another hill workout today, so we all headed out in a huge group to the meadow. I heard rumors that it was super hot out, but it was actually kinda pleasant when we left. Not too bad. My hammy was very tight on the warm up, felt kinda odd actually. Not strained or pulled, just tight. It got better as I warmed up though. DIdnt get to heat since the trainers were MIA today... Anyways did the same warm up loop, and felt better at that point. I decided to just go and run. I brought my flats this time to help with the uneasy terrain. They helped for sure.
Grouped up with Wyatt Drew Corey and Aaron (Big Meech INC LLC) we did a pretty good job at sticking together and working the reps. The goal was to "bound" up the first part of the hill, getting vertical and getting the knee up, then running the second half hard. Otherwise, the loop was the same. Felt good on the bounds the first half, then I was getting a little tired, but still focusing on keeping the vertical. I think it helped. Went a little quicker on the downhill today, letting gravity do the work. I need to trust myself and stay strong on the downhills. Its a big part of the game. THe steep hill was real good Drew and I were really going at it. Did 8 loops again (others who arnt racing bumped it up). I was tired at the end, but satisfied.
DId a cool down with Aaron and Phil around mayfield. Hammy was tightening up on the cool down ehh. I was glad to get back, super tired today.

Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, hammies, abs, ice hammy
Good stretch after lifting. I was soo tired and hungry though. ALso did some hammy stuff then iced with and ice bag. Hopefully I can get to that heat and get it moving again. That helps when it is tight like this, since my whole legs are gettting worked. Overall, stuff feels good. I am excited to get in an 8k at PSB. A good opportunity for me.
No double tomorrow, get to rest for the meet this weekend. Get back into it next week.
