Shoe Tree Pre meet

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Long day today. I was tired in the lab... I headed out solo, and it was kinda rainy and nasty, but I wanted to go on a good run. This run wasnt great, hammy was tight overall. It has just been so tight lately, not a pull since the tightness isnt localized, and moves around. I couldnt heat today either because the training room was closed... Again, slogged through this one. I am not letting it effect my race since I had good workouts this week, and it goes away when I start going fast. If I need to rest next week, I will, because it isnt really loosening up that much. I still believe I can race well tomorrow though, I am going to block out all the injuries and go for it.

Essentials: Stretch, roll, L7, leg hang, Ice hammy

Stretched int he HOF while coach was leading the visualization meeting. Very relaxing, so good stuff there I think. I really tried to focus on strethcing out well, and I think I did that. Still tight when I left though. I am excited for tomorrow though. I feel a lot stronger and faster overall than I did 2 weeks ago. Im gonna take some Vitamin I, pull up my sleeve, and race.
