"Long" Hill run in the Meadow

As follows with the down week this week, we had a pretty easy workout today. Usually we got hills on Wednesday, but today we just went over to the Meadow and did a hilly run, easy and chill. I was kinda brain dead before the workout, so I was excited to go out and get a good run in. All warmed up over to the meadow. It wasnt really raining out, but it was kinda muggy and the ground was super wet. The meadow was waterlogged actually, huge puddles everywhere. We did drills on the path. My Achilles felt way better today, actually it wasnt tight at all, it was just that silly tape lol. I switched into flats today though since I usually do at the meadow to stay safe on the grass. The run was prety relaxed just us all working the hills. We got seperated in the middle, I was up front, but at the end everyone came back together. Felt fine most of the time. Did a shorter cool down back to veale, just around the quad. I was ready to be back when we did get back though. Also, we found a road sign that said "No right turn" Me Drew and Aaron carried it down the hill and stuck it right at the top of the short hill where you need to turn right. BAHBHABHABHA.

Essentials: Stretch, L7, abs, roll, ice bath

No lift today, since we were supposed to do it yesterday but I didnt have time. Fine with that lol... SO I went up and just stretched and did all the other essentials. Feeling pretty good compared to monday. Ice bath was perfect too. I hear we are supposed to get the new ones soon...

Tried to make it to the sacred grove today for a little reflection for Yom Kippur. I will fit it in though, as it is always important to look back at the year, and use that to look forward. So important for me in the past as I turned around a very difficult second year into a successful third year. Its the thought that counts for me now.
