SEHS track w/Dan-O

Beautiful night: 70s, sunny, dry. Tired at work, but a pretty good afternoon. Jogged in the adizeros to the track to run with Dan-o. Decided on 800/300s like a couple weeks back.

Dan-o led the first 8, then me the 3, flopping back and forth:

2:34.5, (31), 54.9, (2:10)
2:34.0, (43), 53.5, (2:11)
2:32.7, (50), 53.6, xxxxx

Felt GOOD. Kept the breathing in EASY mode on the 8s til the 2nd lap of 2 and 3. 300s felt really smooth. FOCI: "Opening" the pelvis (espeically the R) and driving the L, and compact stride.

On the last 300m, about 100 in, I felt a little SOB: like irregular heart beat. I kept going and finished the 300...then nearly passed out. Thankfully when I laid down the HR went back to normal. Not...great...

Mile loop on the bark + pullups cooldown, then back to the car. Good workout.

PM: drove to Salem to hang out with BGD!
