alumni meet. coach decided to turn it into a workout. it was basically race a 5k then do two mile repeats. it went pretty well. probably the best i've ever been at the farm, even if it wasn't incredibly fast. it was wet and the second mile sucked. a lot. ran most of it chasing grogan, and pretty much with tim. went out 5:16, about 11:20 at 2 miles, then 17:12 for the finish. so the second mile was pretty slow... but i don't think i was the only one who had that happen because i was about the same distance from grogan and david the whole time. coach said it was about effort for mile 2 anyways. probably could have ran a little faster the last mile, but i knew we had the two miles after and it was good getting some teamwork with tim. the two miles after were 5:24 and 5:33. not great, but it wasnt too bad either. pretty good day. needed a good day.
