Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Back at school today. Kinda burnt out from 370 HW before practice, so it was nice to settle down and get outside for a run. COach let us select two different fartleks up on NP. It was supposed to be feeling good. The terrain was tough cause of the falling leaves, and I def took that into consideration. It was also pretty warm out today. We all warmed up thorugh the meadow to the field at the end of Fairhill, and did drills there. After drills, we put on our flats, since coach suggsested it, and it would help with the footing. I was a little skeptical since it was a long way to go in flats. We all chose the 1:30 on 1:30 off x14 fartlek I guess, then went off on it.
I had my watch on a cycle, so I kinda came off sync with everyone else mid way through. Went up to Shaker to courtland then back through NP and ended at the first lake so we could swithc out shoes before cooling down. Good run I tried to keep it smooth, took an effort to pick it up on the hard parts but to not kill it. Felt worked at the end. Quite tired cool down back to veale.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, hammies, pushups, Ice bath
Pretty good essentials. Ice bath felt great too. I am excited for this weekend. I guess I have been seeing that this was gonna be back at Rochester and how exciting it would be to bring back my old stomping grounds. Good stuff. I am feeling real positive after how I got through fall break and how much more I am working on. Get in the mental drills tomorrow.
