October 31, 2012 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Swim
Comments:
Aqua jogged with Ethan after we finished up the biking. It was tough. Started with drills in the shallow end, then kicked and did a 5 min warm up to the jogging. I got the form down pretty quickly, had to critique Ethan a few times. After the warm up, we went 2 hard, 30 recovery 10x. The swim team was practicing the whole time, so we got to listen to their tunes, which was legit. I was actually sweating on the hard parts, which felt so weird in the pool. Its tough, since I obviously couldnt replicate the actual Michigan in the pool, but at least we went in and worked. Did 15 min of kicking after, and that was real rough on my ankle actually...
Went down to do a lower leg lift with Ethan afterward.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, ice bath
Legs werent that sore after the workout, so I did a light stretch. ANkle still sore gonna tape tomorrow and see how I feel. Overall, this was a better Halloween than I usually have lol. Then again trick or treating got cancelled today, so was it really Halloween?
