Aqua-Tempo Birthday Party

Case was hosting a swim meet so both of our pools were unavailable for me to use. Fortunately, the club I used to work at in Chagrin Falls has a pool so I went to use that.

Warmed-up with some laps for 10 minutes. Then did drills. Then did around a 10 minute easy aqua-jog to continue the warm-up. I then did Friday's workout...10 min x 2 at split tempo, 5 min x 2 a bit harder.

Then 4 x 15 sec pick-ups. I got my heart rate going throughout and made sure to work harder on the 5 min. but I tried to give tempo effort aerobically for the 10 minute intervals. It went well. I then did a cool-down aqua jogging.

An unexpected surprise during was a birthday party, which sent multiple very loud junior high girls into the pool. So me aqua-tempo-ing on one end with that going on, probably looked ridiculous.
