High Point to Terrace and back-

First of all, congratulations to the Case men for qualifying to nationals for the first time since 2008 and having the highest placed finish at regionals of any Case mens' team since way before my time.

I ran from my apartment today for the first time since my rather poor run last Sunday. This time I extended my mileage out to six for the first time without major issues so I'd say it was a success.

With 6 miles comes no elliptical so I'm happy for that.

As anyone could have guessed, I have NOT been doing well for the past few days, particularly when I'm alone like when I'm running or trying to sleep, and today I sort of reached my breaking point. The middle 5 miles or so was close to being yet another mental breakdown as my bitter side returned. But I can't go through life that way, as I finally realized toward the end. As much as I hate the world and despise the fact that I have no choice but to keep going, I have to, and no amount of whining and moaning will change that. I need to stop being a prissy drama queen about it. Now that doesn't mean I should be a bumbling moron either who goes with whatever way the wind blows, but I have to accept that there are certain things I lack the power to change and continue life. If there is a segment of society who wants to ruin my life, they need to be the ones to do it; I need to stop doing it for them.
