The Shell along SW Bike Path to John Nolen south to Olin-Turville Park, on the trails there, and back-

It was an absolutely gorgeous day for running, colder than yesterday but clear and bright instead of rainy. I decided to try running southeast over the John Nolen Bridge and along the southern shore of Lake Monona today to get a nice view of downtown over the water. I started with a 6:40 first mile, pepped up by the fact that I actually had daylight. I reminded myself my knee was questionable and slowed down after that. My knee was acting up some for a lot of the run and perhaps my fast start was why. I haven't been timing most of my runs so I might be doing this more often than I suspected. Anyway, it was a nice run and other than my knee I felt good.
