Steady State

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ran a steady state after breakfast with MJ. Solo on the workout. Did it on a treadmill, say what you will but I feel more comfortable on that because I don't have to worry about pace.

It was real warm in the cardio room, I sweated a lot. Took me awhile to figure the machine so I could not fall off at the beginning but get it up to speed quickly. After I figured it out settled into the workout.

Goal pace was 5:20 but the machine was either 5:21 or 5:18 so I did three miles at 5:21 then bumped it to 5:18 for the last. Felt decent. It was still weird to be working out, and I did feel like I was working hard towards the end of it. Hung tough through the end. Workouts of this type have traditionally never been my strong point, and it'll get better as I get in better shape. Listened to some hard core rap during it which I haven't done in awhile.
Cool down was glorious, I actually got cold since my shirt was wet.
Essentials: dynamic flexibility, static 2, L7x3, roll, #coreoclock, hips, single leg squats, pullups and dips, morning and evening circuit
