We got a couple inches of snow today but by the early afternoon it warmed up enough that it was freezing rain rather than snow coming down. I had the wind in my face on the way out and a layer of ice formed all across the front of my clothing. It was really weird. Incredibly, I managed to not step in a puddle the entire run and my feet remained dry despite snow/ice/slush everywhere.
The run was enjoyable but my knee was bothering me today, I think from running a little quicker yesterday. it didn't get any worse as I ran, just sort of stayed the same.
The area I ran around on the East Side of Madison looked a lot like the older parts of Sandusky, the same style of wood frame housing.
