Brutal hunt!

Only Lewis was missing. Left at 630. Ran down to the Rexius trail up to the powerline trail, which was an absolute trail creek/mudfest. Did a curious out and back, west, then east down to the headwaters of Amazon. From there...we just barreled into the woods, seemingly, climbing up to the Dillard section...only the barrel down the hill! In short: we wound up hiking at about 1mi/hr down at least 700' of vert, through blackberry bushes and heavy growth - steep, muddy, snowy, wet. Crossed 3 creeks! Crazy, somewhat annoying shit.

Finally popped out by Matt Lonergan's house. Stopped and knocked, no one came. But as we were leaving Marla Runyan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marla_Runyan), his wife, came to the door. Obviously not seeing us all that well, LB and others hollared, and she said, "Oh...it's ULTRA-runners!" Chatted w/Matt a bit, then had a brisk-ish pace back to LB's.

Enjoyed a couple Obsidian Stouts at LBs. Long "run"; slowest-ever, I'm sure.

Hip felt fine.
