Ridge Trail Park Park + 2 quarters

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Ran in the afternoon after a day of AC3 and shopping. Drove down to the track right before nightfall, but I had enough light to get everything in. Ran solo up to the plantations, through ridge trail park park and then did a loop down to east ave, then came back up to the track. Still got to work on the pace. Went quicker it felt on the flats, but on the trails I had to slow down since my ankle felt unstable. Maybe its cause I am running alone... Anyways felt good overall. Weird to think I have been running those trails for 10+ years... Felt good on the hills too.

Snuck onto the track afterward to do 2 400s. It was real windy on the home stretch, but I rose up and pushed real hard and felt super strong and fast. These felt great actually. Last one was just as strong. Splits were

70 and 69

Drove home and got to some stretching.

Essentials: Stretch, roll, L7

Standard stretch, but incorporated some back stuff since that has been an issue in the past and I want to to be stronger when I am sprinting. Still feeling decent. Been a while since I did HM, ill try to get down to IHS soon to do that... I still dont want to do too much (no run throughs) there will be plenty of time for that. I just want to increase mobility to be ready for practice.

Its nice to relax a little now that im back from traveling and here for a bit. It also hasnt hit me, but its nice to get all the stress off me since I think I have something to do next year, so thats a relief.
