Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Long run today since we are heading to Cincinnati tomorrow, and its better to do short runs there. The biggest snow storm yet hit last night, and left a whopping 7 inches of snow! Seems really snowy out, but its not that much actually. Not too many runners out though... Ran from the house, down to Campus via bike path, then down to bottom of Libe slope, then up through northcampus and home via the plantations. A classic long run route. Some of the roads were slushy, which made the hills tough. Wind was whipping too. Lots of sledder out in the Plantations. That made it actually feel like winter. I havnt had a good winter run in a while, and this was kinda nice. Started out slow but picked it up as I went on, back kinda sore at points.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, back, abs
Good essentials back home. I have been really lackin in abs, which I do often. But I need to start them back up since I can feel the weakness. I got to be real strong this season. Stretching out the back felt good too. I have a feeling its gonna be sore with this uneven running surface, just means I got to tend to it more.
