South EUG

Another crazy, stressful day at work! Sheesh!

Did peel away for a slightly longer run, the South EUG loop, stopping at the track for a fast 4x200m. I used to do this weekly during marathon training: 200s pretty damn fast (90+%) with a 200m jog. Did it today in some chill and a touch of wind:

WTF!? So slow! Wow, and I felt like I was hauling ass! Eek. I did come up with a bunch of shitty excuses that add up, I guess:

- Heavy shoes
- Head wind
- Running pants
- Sore from x90 single leg squats last night

I hope that's enough. It felt like I was running 30.0s. Eek.

Back felt fine during and after. Only the teeniest bit sore this evening...
