I decided to try for my first run longer than 10 miles since August 26th when I hurt my hip. My knee was still bothering me some but it's minimal if I go slow, plus I had the rare to chance to run pieces of this on grass after last week's thaw.
However, today was NOT a thaw... I intentionally picked the windy route back and the straight route there because I had the wind in my face on the way back.
This was an interesting route through an area that is appealing for me to run through since it reminds me of bits and pieces of the eastern Cleveland suburbs with winding streets going through the hillside.
Still, I know I'm running really slow all of the time and if I go faster my knee hurts. I need to start working on strength but I'm not sure when that'll happen logistically.
