Speedwork in Veale today. Since I'll be doing the 800 on Saturday, I did the 800 workout instead of the usual Miler one. 4x200/400 Overall, wasn't good, but wasn't awful. My 200s were consistent and decently quick, and the first two 400s were steady at 69, but I just couldn't keep the pace for the last couple 400s. I remember my stomach being gurgly, and my legs just didn't seem to want to go for more than a lap at a time. But, I'm still getting stronger. I don't feel as immediately sore from the lifting as last week, so hopefully this is a good sign of things to come.
