Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Long run today. Went out a little early since we had time to kill. Me Freshman Phil and Sergio rolled out in the snow looking for 10ish. I thought that the best terrain would be out on the eastside, so we headed out there, up to Cain park and out in the hoods past S Taylor. Phil had to poop, so we cut over a little earlier than expected to Cedar so he could stop at the Burger King. Sergio and I just chilled out there (5 minutes). WE then continued back the same way. Roads were getting kinda slippery but we kept a strong pace which felt pretty easy. At Lee we picked it up with a conscious effort. I had to poop at that point so we stopped again at Chipotle (4:10 I beat Phil!!!) Powered it back to campus and finished with a loop around the quad. Great long run overall I felt good ankles were good as well.
Down to lift. It was decently strong, hip was a little sore after. Cut my finger too and that bled a lot.
Essentials: Stretch, L7, roll, Ice (ankle stuff at home)
COuldnt stretch on the track so we went up to the balcony. Got a decent stretch in I would say. Tried to ice both my ankles after to keep swelling down. I wanted to get out cause I have a busy week this week. Things are really picking up, and I am going to stay afloat. I hope my running doesnt suffer... I feel like I might be sacrificing. I still will have the same attitude at the end of the season and run as hard as I can with the work I put in, because I know I put the work into other places as well.
