Burke-Gilman Trail

February 21, 2013 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
After an early morning and a fairly long day, finally made it to Seattle. Rode in the shuttle over to campus with a bunch of other kids visiting UW. Got checking into the hotel, which is kinda sketch actually. Luckily with my flight rearrangement, I had a lot of time before meeting at campus. I tried to find some food, but decided to go out on the run instead. Peter told me about a path that runs around the campus. It is right behind the hotel, so I hopped on it and ran. It was really nice. Saw a few people out biking and running, but mostly I was alone. Went out really fast, went out around 3+ miles, to NE 77st. Really nice view of the bay as I went further north. Didnt really know where I was, but the neighborhoods were nice. There is a seamless integration of old run down parts of town and really modern nice looking parts. There are also a lot of really cool hoods and apartment buildings right around campus. I really enjoyed it. Feels like XC weather. It was typical Seattle weather haha (just like The Killing Paul Curtiss!)

Added on toward campus then past all the sports stadiums. #PAC12Swag Finished up past the shopping mall that is basically a compact Legacy Village.

Essentials: Stretch, L7

Quick stretch in my hotel room. Legs felt pretty good today. it was great to stretch out after the long plane ride. Very exciting here though.
