Easy gulfport loop + first-ever run with mom!

Weather: mid 60s, windy, no sun

Comments:
First run in Gulfport. Slept in, then went for a run. Talked to my mom, beforehand about running, so we planned on it for after my run.

I usually hate running on vacation, but with better stride mechanics, I felt pretty good. Kept it SUPZ EZ, going north across the rail tracks, then east into Gulfport proper, before coming back on the beach highway.

Then went running with mom! Her mechanics are pretty good; she just doesn't get much (if any) power from her gluts. Ran maybe 10-12min pace, which wasn't too painful.

Post-run: had mom film me run. A year ago while in Gulfport, my sis filmed because I knew my stride was off. Today: MUCH, MUCH better than a year ago: more compact, less vertical excursion, good foot landing.

Not great: still a bit to SWIVS (maybe 10%) and still narrow on the L landing. I also noted that I'm collapsing on the R stance/pelvis, in my effort to open it. NBD, but this explains some back and R hip soreness.
