Big achievement actually, made my trek down to the quad and back for school today. Thats probably the longest I have walked. I wasnt too tired, but at the end of the day, I am fatigued. Feeling weak and sore in the abs but no cramps, which is good. Doc was right its gonna take a while to get to 95-100%. I feel like I can go about my day and do the things I need to do though, and it feels good. I like that.
I did talk to coach today though, and we know the season is over. I can get back to running, but when I return, it will be for fitness and fun. I might get back into racing shape, do some workouts and races in the future, but the timeline doesnt work for me to race for CWRU anymore. Its sad, but it is a transition. I am just so thankful for all the experiences I got from my time. I may not have accomplished all that I wanted, but I did change as a runner, and I think it was for the better.
