Lots of threes

April 13, 2013 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: Sprinkling, mixed rain/solid

Comments:
Headed to Northside just in time to catch Mike and Brando drilling for the workout, which was lucky because I wanted to have gone about two hours earlier. Veale was closed so I ran in my gore tex trainers which wasn't the greatest. Some ladies' football league was getting ready for a game infield, but it wasn't too much of a bother. "All I do is win" came on just before the last interval. Clutch.

First set wasn't too bad, paced it pretty well.
Second set started off a little quicker but wasn't bad either. Third set was also not terrible but we pushed them a little faster. I felt pretty good except for my shins; I wore the wrong shoes to be working out in. Probably could have hit 53's steady if it hadn't been for that but I'm not gong to worry too much. I was expecting this workout to be much more of a challenge than it was; having the repeats in sets of five made it pretty manageable. Could have done another set if I needed to.

Splits:
54.0, 55.1, 54.3, 54.6, 54.4
53.2, 54.4, 54.2, 53.4, 54.6
53.7, 53.low, 53.8, 52.6, 50.5
Average: 53.8

Saw that there was a cop sitting next to my car as I was about to start the cooldown so I took that back to the house and got ready to go watch for the aurora.
