First lap I felt like I was going super fast. I thought I was about to get a 400 PR in the process of 800, but then I get to the line and it was a 1:10. I wasn't struggling much with breath at this point and decided I was going to push it. I wanted to have the second lap be even faster. The first 200 of the second lap felt great still, but when I hit the last 200 my legs were feeling overly sore. I still hadn't run out of breath so I put everything I had into moving my legs. Needed a better kick, but still very pleased with the two second pr. I had also eaten a doughnut and some other junk food during and right before fifth period not expecting the meet to be cancelled. Hoping to break 2:20 on next 800.
