LONG hunt from ManSpace

April 30, 2013 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 60? sunny

Comments:
Pretty good afternoon at work, then drove to Lewis' house for the hunt. LB's gone...indefinitely? So the ManSpace, it is.

Cliff led on some sinister-sounding hunt route from Lewis' house in the east hills, up some steep hills to Spring, then Ribbon Trail to Hendricks, then down to Fairmount and through campus.

Before we got to Agate, he announced we were doing a farlek workout! F! I was already tired, as it seemed we were grinding a sub 7 effort on the roads/trails, but off we went: did about 5-6 intervals lasting 1-2 minutes. UGH. I felt intermittently good and shitty, until I just felt wiped. We rolled along the river all the way to downtown, near my apt - running to the top of Skinner Butte.

From there, we ran through downtown and back to Lewis'; much slower pace on the way, which was almost worse, just because I felt clunky.

Back was sore early on, but improved w/form focus. Feet got sore in the N1 road shoes - they're quire soft-soled, so 16 miles was too much in them, methinks.

Post-run: Cliff brought OE! Really? Tasted awful. Had some Line Dry Rye IPAs after, which were great.

Slept SHITTY last night...sucked. Not sure why, but it COULD be some dust mite (poop) allergy stuff, I dunno. No zyrtek for the second+ straight day...
