Exercise Type: Run
Weather: great
Comments:
let's go with a narrative today...
I've been sleeping an average of 6 hours a night this week. So I'm thinking this run is going to not go so hot. So I start through campus and up Fairhill, when I run by about a dozen Monarch butterflies. One lands on my left shoulder and chills there for about 10 seconds. When it goes to dismount and fly away, it flies in front of my face, and almost gets inhaled to its death.
Continuing on South Park, I see a short, built, blonde guy and tall, skinny, dark-haired guy. thinking its Vaughn and Tenley, I book it for about half a mile only to catch them at the 5 way intersection and find out its not them.
Continuing around the further Shaker Lake, coming back on North Park, I get whistled at from a car sitting at NP/Lee, except then I realize it's either a guy whistling or a girl's whistle that sounds like a guy's, both of which I want nothing to do with. From North Park, I then think I see Jdubs running parallel to me on Fairmount, so I pick it up to see if I can catch him.
Lo and behold, I see Cindy coming out NP then, so I forget about the maybe-Josh and run the middle 3.9 miles with Cindy. Parting ways with her, I run by the XCFH and football houses, where I see two girls that I met when they came over from the football house to an XCFH party last weekend. So I talk to them, they go get Shaun Nicely, I talk to him, then I pop in to see Brett for about 10 minutes.
After that it's pretty uneventful back to House 2. And to think I thought today's run wasn't going to be fun.
