2013 Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon

Comments:
I let the downhill carry me to an upbeat pace of 6:10s for the first half. One wrong turn that added 2 minutes to the first half. Came through half in ~1:20:00 adjusted for the wrong turn, which was fine for the overcast 60*F temperature and overcast skies, but I knew I wouldn't be feeling good the last 30 minutes probably, and shot for an 80 minute first half and 90 minute second half. However, the sun came out and I ended up not feeling good for the last 60ish minutes. It's whatever though, 13 minutes faster for not being in as good of shape as last year; that's how much not going out too fast in the first half matters.

Onto the Rock 'n' Roll Cleveland Half Marathon October 5, a distance I don't just survive but can actually race and enjoy racing.
