Quarry-Genung-Turkey Hill

Comments:
Ran mid day (the hottest time of the day) from home. Didnt know how long I wanted to go. Headed up Quarry which was pretty tough, then came down Genung. I really took in the rural, summer Ithaca smell up there, and realized how different running here is than in Shaker and Cleveland Heights. It was so beautiful up on top of the hill. It started to get hot as I went along Ellis Hollow Creek Rd and I was getting tired. Came up Turkey Hill pretty slowly, legs were weakening. Tired when I finished at home. The hills and the heat really got to me today, but I still felt pretty good. You cant just coast along out here like on the flats, you really got to work the hills to keep going. Felt great to run though after not running the past few days.

Essentials: Stretch, L7, pushups

Stretched outside on the lawn then came in for pushups. I couldnt really roll since my running stuff isnt back yet. My socks are also MIA as well, so I ran in dads socks.
