Comments:
I rolled my ankle pretty badly playing indoor soccer back in November or December. It has never really healed properly, or so I assume based on the fact that it is perpetually puffy and swells up a bit when I run or do other exercises. Otherwise it hasn't provided much pain or discomfort. It's usually a little uncomfortable at the start of a run, but it feels normal once it gets warmed up.
Only about 15 minutes into this run I had to bail because the ankle was feeling pretty bad. The pain wasn't unbearable or anything, but I was afraid I would do serious harm if I kept running on it. I'm going to try doing some strength and mobility exercises daily. Hopefully that will keep the ankle demons at bay.
