Home from the Plantations

June 1, 2013 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Hot out today, but I felt bad from not running yesterday, so I ran this afternoon after walking the dogs at the Plantations. I felt super tired walking the dogs, burnt out from all the packing and getting ready for Israel. Once I started running, I started to loosen up and feel much better. Hammies were tight when I started, but loosened up. Legs were heavy but I felt good. Breeze picked up as well and it was comfortable. From the Fleet Garage, ran out to Water Tower then down to the Vet School. Cut through the greenhouses and came back down to the entrance of the Plantations. Ran back up to the water tower then ran home dodge Rd. This was the last run home via Dodge Rd. When I get back from Israel, we will be in our new house downtown. Ive been through a lot running out in Ellis Hollow. From the times in middle school when my dad kicked me out the door to get my run in, to the times over winter break where I was crushing the snowy hills to get in shape for steeple... I will probs come back out here to the outdoor track just to run.

Essentials: Stretch, L7

Quick stretch when I got back. I was sweating and exhausted, so I wanted to get into the cold shower.

Wont be running for the next two weeks. Heading to NYC tomorrow, then heading out to Tel Aviv via Moscow on Monday. Ill be walking around a lot, but no runs (If I can I will still log it to keep up on current events). I dont feel like I am in great shape now, but I want to find a race coming up and start getting mileage up later in the summer.
