West PRE + Fairmount

Good morning of work, then went to yoga. Interestingly, it wasn't that tough, for a Chelsea class. No El Jefe today, but there was a crazy hot girl that I got to check out for a good hour - always worth going to yoga for!

Post-class, I'm usually cashed, but I got home, pounded some water, and went for a run.

Thought it'd be OK, but gosh, I was tired. No sugar, no caffeine, post-yoga...post-track session...TIRED. I also had some heartburn from the PB I ate, pre-yoga. Almost turned it around 20min in, but I persisted - running through PRE and over to Fairmount. Once over by campus, I felt much better. Exciting to run past Hayward with yet another big meet going, the NCAA's. Tons of people in town, so campus was supz-busy.

Overall, felt OK - really focused on "the crouch". Gosh that's hard. When you're tired, you don't want to load the gluts/quads, but if you don't, you "stand up" out of the stride, and start braking. So really focused on that today while fatigued.

Post-run: sat out on the DEHCK and got some rays. 85F on this run and after. Good "heat training".
