Comments:
This turned into a disaster, but not every day of training can be perfect. I thought the run would be higher quality, but it was about as low as it could be. Firstly, rather than picking a route with a few minor hills, I acted cowardly and chose to do the Potomac heritage trail to run in the shade. That made extremely little difference due to humidity and the trail was completely overgrown and I had to stumble across large sections of rock, losing my balance and forcing my shoes at odd angles. I take complete responsibility for choosing the worst possible route. I have said before, and I will say it again, at least now I'm sore. 2:30 planks, leg lifts.
