Runnin with the Big Boys

Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
As yesterday I found David on my run, today I found Wyatt about walking about the front door. I stopped when we were about 5 out and then head back as he went out a bit further. It was quite warm, but a good run. Stretch .

Also, found 3 5Ks the weekend after next, one of which I will choose to do. This may be the last race I get in before I start work. My plan is to run as stress relief through September and October without any rigid guidelines while I adjust to the job. Then, in November I will re-assess where I am at with the ability (timewise) to train. Long term goals going forward as I transition to real life:


8K: Below 25 Mile: Below 4:40 5K: Below 15


Success at 8K and up road racing, particularly the half. Success defined as consistently in the top 15 or so at the least if I am legitimately training.

Of course aligned with my 8K an 5K goals, my mile should be much faster, but I would be content with in the 4:30s. Particularly since I have not run one since broke my foot in high school.
