Gorham through Maple Bluff to Woodward to Governor's Island, back Woodward to Sheridan to Hooker to Sherman to Gorham-
I decided to try out a new run from my apartment out to Governor's Island and today was near perfect running weather, cool and misty. Governor's Island is situated on the campus of the Mendota Mental Institute and the trail leading to it went past a few boarded up buildings and a creepy decaying playground in a clearing in the middle of the woods. It looked like a good setting for a horror film.
Anyway, the run was fairly enjoyable though it seemed like it took forever and my hip was really bothering me. I hope it isn't going to give me the type of problems I had last fall where I had to run slow for several months before it healed.
