Was gonna run with Ari, but he had to postpone till later, so I just ran from the house after lunch. It usually was a bad time to run, but the weather was really nice. Not too hot out. Started out slow but pushed the hills, and finished strong. I felt pretty good today actually, and it felt great to get out there on a beautiful day. Still feels kinda weird since usually this would be my time to gear up and get ready for the season to start. Its always a boost to training when everyone meets up at camp and preseason starts. Preseason is one of my favorite times of the year. After that then, its a whirlwind into the cross season. I miss that already. It always reminded me that school was starting too. I guess it is good that this year is different since grad school is a whole different ball game. This summer has been soo fun in its own way that I think it will help the transition.

Essentials: Stretch, L7

Nice stretch out on the back porch. Legs felt better today, not sluggish really. Starting up training is going to remind me how slowly strength builds up. Its been about 6 months since I was training, and Ive forgotten that a little. Shoes are starting to feel nice too.
