Comments:
Woke up early to run with Pete today. Upon waking, it felt like I just ate a burrito -- last night's dinner -- about 15 minutes ago. As such, the run was pretty brutal, with lots of gut rot and two grind stops.
Legs felt so-so after the 14-mile, double-workout day. Beyond that, it was a pretty good run. Great weather, per usual. I didn't wear gloves this AM, so the hands were pretty cold 'til about midway through.
Work was rough today: the gut-rot just got worse 'til about early afternoon, and I struggled due to that, running fatigue, and overall lack of sleep. I was happy to get out of there a bit early.
Got home, packed up, and we were on the road by 5. Decent drive down to Redding, and I damn near sprinted into the In N Out Burger. Wound up eating FOUR BURGERS, TWO FRIES, and TWO SHAKES! Holy Christ. I would pay dearly for that about 30min later, and the following morning... :s
