Comments:
Did maybe 1.5 worth of running doing the VO2/RQ test. My RQ (or ventilatory threshold was between 159-162 bpm); my VO2max was 62.1 but it never plateaued; we pulled the plug early. But again, mental toughness - and type of fuel used - will always trump VO2.
Got the treadmill up to 9mph and 10% grade before we stopped. It was getting tough and pretty claustrophobic/tough to breathe with that mask on.
